PAMS PAWS PET PHILOSOPHY

To Utilize Force Free Methods Of Training To Achieve Desired Behaviors

Desired dog behaviors are always possible with patient and consistent owner behavior. It can take anywhere from 18 to 254 days to form a new habit, with it taking an average of 66 days for a new behaviour to become automatic. There is no one-size-fits-all figure. Some habits are easier to form than others and some dogs may find it easier to develop new behaviours than others.

When it comes to education in animals, no trainer could possibly guarantee success and you should be wary of any who do.

The progress in your dog is contingent upon how much time and effort you are committing to the program. Ideally, you should have one training session every 2 - 3 weeks to ensure you are giving yourself and your pup time to engrain the new lessons. Your sessions will result in a better understanding of your dogs needs.

How do the virtual sessions work?

Pam structures your online session the same way she structures an in person one: you share your concerns, she gets to the root of the problem and explains the formula best suited. Then Pam will demonstrate the correct technique and you will replicate that with your pooch with Pam observing and correcting as the session continues.

After your session, you will receive customized notes, and a homework handout with steps to further help with your dogs issues. A recording of your session will also be made available to you.
