Leashes

Choosing a Long Leash that is a bright color can prevent fellow pet parents, and law enforcement from thinking your dog is "off-leash in a public space" from a distance.

When it comes to providing enrichment outdoors, I stick with the 20 to 30 foot leash option. Any shorter makes fetch in public difficult, any longer allows for them to build too much momentum before the harness stops them in their tracks.

Long leashes tend to get dirty quick, washing it with mild detergent, dog shampoo, or dish soap regularly should do the trick.

NEVER attach a long leash to a dogs collar.

Your dog must be on a harness with the leash clipped on the back to avoid injury or worse.

lynxking Waterproof Leash

This leash is perfect for swimming as it floats! It is disinclined to tangle whether it is in use or when rolled up. Its non-absorbent material will float, even when submerged, and is highly visible against any body of water with its 4 bright colour options.

Nimble Dog Leashes

This leash is made from durasoft material that is easy to clean, resistant to extreme hot/cold temperatures, and is disinclined to knot. It can withstand 600 - 750 lbs. of pull force, but is light enough for small and medium size dogs to drag around. Available in 6 different sizes & colours!

Vivifying Dog Leash

This 32ft waterproof leash is easy to clean, smell-free, and resistant to extreme hot/cold temperatures. The handle is cushioned for comfort, and the PVC coated webbing makes it extremally durable, but heavier than other long leashes, so they are best paired with large and giant breed dogs. Also available in orange!
